The Silent Violence is inspired by Alexander McQueen’s Show “It’s a JUNGLE out there.” Fall 1997.

According to me, the collection was inspired by birds, which were visible in the makeup and in the outfits.
But here I have also included the theme of Animalistic Urges and domestic abuse.

The concept was animalistic urges, but during the development of the project, I started hinting towards “Domestic Abuse.” Even though I do not support Domestic abuse, I really liked how it was connecting to freedom and women's empowerment, which is something the audience might not get/support while looking at the final outputs.

The series captures the essence of being in the darkness, being controlled by someone else, and the urge and the dream of getting that freedom one day.
